I just got in a batch of new PCB’s! So, what does this mean? Updated and new products!

The Single Thermocouple Interface has been updated to V1.2. There was not many major changes, mostly just minor modifications to the layout and solder mask. These boards are available for sale assembled and as PCB only.

On to the new products. First the Multi Interface! The Multi Interface was designed because of a few requests for boards that supported more than 4 thermocouples. This board can be populated with up to 28 MAX6675 and thermocouple connectors. It will be available for sale later this week and can be configured with any number of thermocouple in increments of four. Currently the PCB only is for sale.

The next new product is the Arduino Shield version of the Quad Thermocouple interface. This is the standard thermocouple interface with the MAX6675 breakout, but configured as an Arduino shield. It will be available later this week configured with 1, 2, or 4 thermocouple/MAX6675 chips. ”Long” pin header will be available to make the shield stacking, or standard pin headers.

Now you have a MAX6675, but don’t have a temp probe? Pick up one of these. This is a low cost, however very accurate K-type thermocouple probe. The probe is made of stainless steel and is 6″ long 1/8″ diameter, there is also a 60″ wire length of fiberglass wrapped wire rated to 900˚F. The mini thermocouple connector will plug right into the interface boards.
